Couple/Enggagement/Marriage

ok questions questions.. please do tell me if you know..

what's the difference essentially between being a couple, getting enggage and getting married? - this excludes the commitment factor because we are assuming that it is already factored in.

couple and getting enggage

as a couple, u hold hands and kiss.. and share everything..

enggage - same thing isnt it? its not that you can already jump into bed with each other. and dun tell me this is a trial period.. even if it is, what was wrong with trying as a couple?? the promises u make then and when ur enggage holds the same level of fulfillment isnt it?

married... aside from being able to stay together and sleep together, how does it essentially affect the relationship between the two lovers??

ok maybe i am being dumb... but at least i can't see a clear diff between couple and getting enggage...

Relationships between homosapiens..

yes i think i am on a blogging craze.. for now.. haha

this morning on my way to work, i took the lrt & mrt because had to return to office (but ended up back at client's place again coz manager orders..haha), i came across an anoying person.. maybe two.. i managed to get a seat on lrt today.. but wasnt so lucky with mrt because no energy to be kiasu today.. so i was standing in the mrt holding on to the bar.. and then this old man wanted to get out and i was kinda blocking him with my hand, so i release my hand.. then he said 'excuse me' again.. i was like 'ok ur so fat meh'.. so i moved a little.. then he 'excuse me' again.. i'm was like 'wat the hell'..so i inched again.. then he beat my laptop! the stupid sucker.. shud have threatened to sue! then only i realised that his wife wanted to come from the other side of me.. she could have said 'excuse me' right? stupid ppl.. but they are old and senile.. so its ok.. also they're citizens of the rude land.. then when i let her pass, she still had to hold on/push me.. i was like gee man.. jz how fat are u?! (she was not all that big)... wow.. i had the darkest thoughts of them for a while.. then i prayed about it.. then i was pretty much ok..

in fact now looking back at it, it was quite loving of that man to get ppl to make way for his wife.. this is looking from the wife's point of view lah..

i realised that sometimes we can really hurt the people we love the most in the worse way possible as compared to us hurting someone who we're not that close to. i suppose proximity is one of the reason to validate the oppurtunity to do so. sometimes mice and i can really fight until we both end up in tears, but i know in my heart that nothing would happen to us. i know at the end of it, we would make up and be loving again. how great this assurance is! i hope everyone out there has something like this.

when it comes to family, i now am staying with an aunty which i was not ever that close to before this.. and yet, she treats me so well.. what i like to eat, she will find out and then she will cook... often if possible.. and she always cut fruits for me.. sometimes we jz talk about stuff.. its amazing the quantum of love she showers upon me given the history (neutral history)..

my brother has annoyed me to no end before.. he can really test my patience.. and its the same for me.. i can make him really upset too.. yet he still buy things for me and thinks of me... and me on the other hand will take him out for movies and drink with my friends or mice...

am not very sure of what i am trying to convey, but relationships are always full of all these.. the ups and downs.. but essentially the love for one another is always there.. and that love always helps to overcome the bad times of misscommunication and understanding.. or perhaps even the absence of the other...

and the part where we hurt the ones we love more then we hurt others.. i guess the logic is because we love the other person so much, and when ur angry u unconciously strike back to the same level of love, but with anger.. which should explain why we dun really hurt others whom with are not that close too with the same level of verocity.. but this is not a sound theory.. i can argue it away.. haha.. but for now, we'll go with it...

*Toshibaa..

remember the * in my chocolate mice blog? well this blog is about it :)

i bought a new laptop!! hehehe thanx to daddy! my old laptop u know the fat and bulky one i always carry to uni.. it kinda konked out on me.. sumtimes the keyboard can't work, can't turn the comp on etc.. so decided needed a new laptop because if repair, quite pointless (this what we all say right? haha) because it is about 5 years old already...
i'll tell u a weird secret... when was in process of confirming the new laptop, the dear old laptop can suddenly work! haha.. ssshhhhh....

okok.. so off with the suspense, me bought a Toshiba M500 1024E! hehe... its 12", freaking light - 1.86kg, has fingerprint security, 1GB RAM, 100 GB HDD, HDD protector (so if u drop laptop, data safe), titanium silver and very cute.. hahah oh right! it has the latest processor - core2duo! and this laptop itself is brand new, some shops dun even have it yet (i checked!) and some websites dun even have the price! hehehe.. those that have the price, it starts from $2799!(exhange rate - 2.27) and in msia, mice friend bought something like this spec for RM5999. and guess how much i had to pay for it (excluding gst and upgrade).. only.... *drum roll... $1999! hehehe... full and final price... *drum roll 2... $2178.95!.. hehe.. okok i know dad doesnt like the drum roll coz its burning his pocket.. but hey.. good deal hah! hehehehe...

know why?.. because.. dealing straight with toshiba! hehehe.. i was already pretty set on buying another toshiba laptop which was $1900 from simlim(its like our low yat).. but sumhow on instinct, i felt like calling toshiba just to be kiasu.. to see if they had a better offer... i know its not logical but jz felt 'moved' to do that.. and i did... so they transferred me to this lady (who i assumed is a sales person) and i asked her for that model etc.. then she talked to her boss etc, came up with the latest laptop only with and addition of $100. the original laptop i wanted does not have the latest processor, XP Pro, and is already 'old' in comp terms.. it was last year's product.. so damn freaking good deal lo... oh and it only has 1 year international warranty, whereas this latest one has 3 years international warranty!

SO i agreed to the arrangement between toshiba and myself.. and when i went to buy, guess who the lady really was? senior accountant of toshiba leh! imagine my shock! all along i tot i was dealing with a salesperson.. and nobody tell her who i am ok! hahaha... then suddenly it also made sense as to why she could do what she did to give me such a deal... bwahahaha.. blindedness.... anyway she was nice lah.. but not overly friendly, and being with accountants day and night, she's the first one that i see sooo heavily made up.. and its quite pretty :)

oh well.. ok so brought the laptop back lah.. but can't bring to office yet because i got no microsoft office.. shall be lending from a colleague tmr..then hopefully can start bonding with my toshy :)
thanx for the comp dad!

my dear old compaq, you will still serve me best when it comes to movies.. worry not as i shall still keep you..hehe

Sweetest Chocolate Mice..

Chocola.. wha..? Chocolate mice... my baby :) His nickname.. why? because he stole some chocolates that is suppose to be for his parents! hehehe... and also because he loveessss chocolates... MY chocolate micee.. hehe

He was so so so darn sweet... you know why? because.. he drove ALL THE WAY to singapore just to be with me for a day! He left all his work back home just to see me.. :) I mean the focus here was that it was a day trip! Because he did drive all the way to singapore just to drop me off the other time and then drove home... anyone wanna beat that? ;)

He arrived close to noon... and i was watching by the window to spot his car when he first turns in the area.. and spotted! i quickly wore my roman sandals, grab all necesary items and went down as quickly as possible.. then at last! can hug my mice and kiss him! nyammy.. hehe...

Then we drove away from there and went to.... ok we did not know where to go and ended up arguing.. so sad.. but we made up... we had lunch at jack's place, great world city... not too bad, but i like sunway pyramid one better coz they have nyammy thai fish.. after that we attempted to find orchard, but ended up at sim lim tower, bugis village first...

So i got him a phone car charger which he has wanted for sometime and we got his aunty a usb modem.. i showed him the laptop model* that i jz bought the day before :) then it was pouring like mad outside.. and this time i was not agonized.. because we both had to share an umbrella under which i get to hold him as tight as i like and walk under the rain =)

After sim lim, we went to Orchard road.. after rounding a gazzillion rounds.. me reading the map and he asking turn where and giving me continuous update on what road we're on.. hahaha.. guess what?! he doesnt know how to read a map! kekeke.... the author of 'women can't read maps...' should 'sau tong' lah! bwahahaha..

We found orchard.. got some parking tix and walked around to look for warner bros ( i was thinking since when spore so cool?) .. when we found it, it was shaw house! hahaha... anyway we had fast food.. and reasonable dinner conversation.. after that we went for a lovely after-dinner drink at mc cafe which belongs to mcdonalds!.. and then we went of to kallang to get some tyres for his race stuff (yes he's planning on racing again..)..after that it was really late, so he drop me home and begun the journey home.. it was wonderful! :)

thanx so much baby! ur the best! :)

boreeng crappe

Finally the internet connection is working again.. this time amazingly well.. therefore i am able to blog.. hehe...

Work hasn't been too bad lately... in fact pretty relaxing so far compared to the other interns.. this week, the client we we're auditing were very very nice.. they took us out to lunches and they even help us find files.. how nice... dream client they are called.. and everyday get to take cab to office... you jz wouldnt believe how safe the cabs are over here compared to Malaysia... I even dare take it alone! haha..

However on the last day i had to take mrt back (my usual means of transport) and man i came back black face.. why? coz singaporeans are outright RUDE! Freaking kiasu arses! They (S'poreans) even talk about themselves being rude in newspapers and magazines... i'm very inclined to put them down, but fairly i can understand why... its such a small space with a gazillion people.. so u do the math... dun forget to include end-of-the-day stress and peak hours...

ok no mood to blog ad.. later alligators...
